Molding and baseboards are used for decoration and for holding wallpaper against the walls. Walls have permanent magnets along the top and bottom edges intended for holding molding and baseboards.
These wall magnets have a different polarity on either side of the wall. If a molding or baseboard is not held in place, you can flip its magnets using the MagSlip Multitool or a paperclip in the small channel next to each magnet on the back of the molding or baseboard.
Notes
- Molding and baseboard magnets can be flipped for use on either side of a wall.
- Magnets are marked on one side with a line and blank on the other. The side with the line should be visible when using the molding/baseboard on side “A” of walls (see wall instructions).
- Some molding/baseboards come as multiple pieces to fit around doors.
